Khloe's new blanket

The pictures don't depict how adorable this blanket is. My mom and I were shopping a few months back and ran across a pattern for this blanket and my mom decided to see if she could make it for Khloe. After countless hours of cutting and sewing it is finished. We are calling it a labor of love (much like this pregnancy :). It is absolutely adorable and it turned out perfect. It will be something that Khloe can keep forever and know that it is something special that her grandma made just for her! Thank you mom, I absolutely love it and I can't wait to give it to Khloe!!!

Baby Khloe's Room

We are finally getting Khloe's room put together with just a little over 2 weeks left to go..... My mom made the blocks with her name on them. They are PERFECT and match her bedding so well. Her room is turning out more adorable than I could have ever imagined. Since I know you will eventually look at this: Thanks again mom for making the letters for her room. It will be something that she can keep forever that her grandma made just for her. I really appreciate all you have done to help us get ready for her arrival. Now if we could move on the the blanket.... LOL!!!!!

Playing in the Winter Wonderland

This was Rylan eating snow for the very first time. Needless to say, he is NOT a fan!

Again, not a huge fan of eating snow!

Halloween 2009

Rylan loved his monkey costume (thanks to his aunt Mimi). We took him to boo at the zoo and he was a crazy kid. Running every direction he could think of and he wanted to eat every piece of candy that people were giving him. He had a great day and was passed out in the car before we left the driveway at grandmas house....

I wear my sunglasses at night..........

The day at the park

The pudding episode :)

Rylan loves his pudding. This episode left me on my hands and knees mopping my entire floor and wiping down walls........

Our little helper

Rylan loves to do whatever we are doing. He was so funny trying to dust the tv off.

The Lucky Charm Race

Rylan has learned how to crawl on the kitchen chairs and he was able to pull a box of lucky charms and dump it all over the floor. The black blob in the pictures is Lillee and it was a race to see who could shove the most lucky charms in their mouth first. I personally think Rylan won.

Rylan loves the phone

I thought these pictures were adorable. He loves to talk on the phone. I love how relaxed he is in this picture. I swear, his personality gets cuter EVERY day!!!

Rylan's Tee Time in the Backyard

Spencer decided that it's never too early to groom Rylan to join the PGA tour. He got his first official set of golf clubs awhile back (and yes, they are real clubs with a real bag and real golf balls). Rylan is only allowed to play with them outside (for ovbious reasons) and when we bring them back in the house, he wanders endlessly looking for them. He absolutely loves playing with them, and he is slowing catching the drift to swing them toward the ground, rather than above his head. I am so excited to think that golfing will be something special that Rylan and Spencer can share as he gets older.

Our little climbing Monkey

Getting a little brave, but still holding on.............
Such a big, brave boy now! Everything in the house is now a jungle gym!

I think this is probably one of the best pictures that Spencer has taken of Rylan. We had a family reunion two weeks ago, and Rylan was everywhere. There was so much for him to look at and play with. In this picture my mom and I are swinging him back and forth, he was having a blast. On another note: I think I finally fixed my blog so you all can leave comments if you wish.

4th of July

We went to my mom's house for a barbeque on the 4th of July. They had set up a little swimming pool for the kids to play in. My niece and nephew loved it, but Rylan was not so sure. He was fine playing in it as long as Makayla didn't splash him and as long as she stayed right beside him. He played in the pool for about 5 minutes total, and then he was over it. He had more fun riding the 4 wheeler than anything else.

Rylan has now become to much of a big boy to ride the little giraffe bike. He now has to ride a big wheel.............

Rylan is pointing at me because he is ready to get out of the pool and he was too scared to stand up in it on his own.

Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Monk

Rylan with Dad and Grandpa Monk
Rylan's Grandma and Grandpa Monk (or Mamaw and Poppie as he calls them) came up for a visit. Rylan was especially excited for their visit because he got to tell them the big announcement that he is going to be a big brother!!!
Rylan got to spend a lot of time with both of them, and he was so excited the entire time they were here. He really loved being spoiled and getting ALL of the attention from them. It's funny because now when I point to a picture of them, and ask him who they are he yells "Mamaw, or Poppie" and then runs around the house all sorts of excited. We all really enjoyed getting to see and spend the 4th of July with them.

Feeding the Dogs and Walking in mom's Shoes

Rylan loves to share his food and Lillee is way more than happy to be his sharing partner. This does help me with the clean up process when Rylan decides to throw his food.

Rylan has discovered how to put my shoes on. He likes to walk around the house and show them off!!

Just for Mimi :) Noticed you haven't updated yours since April, so exactly who is the slacker here? ;)

So the kid likes to eat dirt, especially the kind out of the planters that his mother worked so hard planting flowers in. :)

We took Rylan out to Great Grandma Jo and Great Grandpa Jerry's house to see the animals. He got a kick out of petting the horses and trying to moo like the cows were.
